Ann
Hamilton
Ellsworth was an attendant for Ann Hamilton in the installation entitled
tropos at the Dia Center for the Arts in New York City.
Ellsworth silently read and burned the printed text from numerous books.
Ellsworth also contributed hand-written citations on library cards to
the public art project by Ann Hamilton and Ann Chamberlain for the San
Francisco Public Library. Ellsworth was one of the scribes who wrote
on the fifty thousand library cards.
